The Aloha United Way Society of Young Leaders (SYL) and the Hawaii Food & Wine Festival are excited to announce a new partnership that will designate proceeds from the Festival’s Chefs Private After Party to Aloha United Way. 

Go crazy with crafty cocktails, beer and an assortment of spirits offered by master mixologists from around the world.  And enjoy midnight snacks created by FIVE top chefs.

We would like to invite you to join us and more than 100+ internationally renowned celebrity chefs, sommeliers, mixologists and top-tier winemakers at the Chefs Private After Party on Friday, September 11 from 10 p.m. – 2 a.m. at Japengo & SWIM at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki. 

The Chefs Private After Party will feature an all you can eat and drink menu with specialty cocktails, beer and an assortment of spirits offered by master mixologists, Bridget Albert and Debbi Peek of Southern Wine & Spirits, and Julie Reiner of Clover Club, Leyanda and Mixtress Consulting.  Bar bites and midnight snacks will be prepared by five celebrity chefs, Isaac Bancaco of Andaz Maui, Greg & Gabi Denton of Ox Restaurant, Oregon, Mark Freiberg, Neiman Marcus, Hawaiʻi, Jon Matsubara, Japengo, Waikiki, and Troy Terorotua of REAL a gastropub, Hawaiʻi.  VIP Table Service is also available with champagne upon entry, reserve seating and bottle service with premium spirits and mixers.

The Fifth Annual Hawaiʻi Food & Wine Festival co-chaired by two of Hawaiʻi’s own James Beard Award-winning chefs, Alan Wong and Roy Yamaguchi, will take place from August 29 – September 13, 2015. A roster of over 150 internationally renowned celebrity chefs, sommeliers, mixologists and top-tier winemakers are scheduled to attend this year from Hawai‘i, the mainland U.S., and as far as Australia, Germany, Japan, London, and Singapore, making this a truly diverse festival with both established and emerging talent.  The two-week celebration of sustainable Hawaiian cuisine is expected to draw more than 10,000 attendees on Hawai‘i Island, Maui, and O‘ahu.
